Classic! The movie, the song... memories.
"A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown by the kind of friends he chooses." Wouldn't you agree?

Last paper map
After 99 years of printing traditional road maps, California State Automobile Association had decided to print its last paper map... another victim to the shift in digital technology. Who still use traditional road map? Nowadays, directions can easily be found on the internet. On top of that, most vehicles are GPS equipped. Even cell phones have the capability to download maps. The only question is: What happens when your little gadget stop working? Hmmm

Typical sunny day in S.F
After 3 days of scorching heat, S.F is finally cooling down. Perfect for the 12k Bay to Breakers run. We're not participating in the event but will be at S.F Aids walk (7/20/2008) and Susan G. komen's race for the cure (9/21/2008). The S.F marathon (8/03/2008) is a maybe. Anyways, we did a little bit of running around town ourselves yesterday. While trying to take care of business, we took a few shot of the town.
Taking Larkin St to the Pier instead of 280 highway
Sunny but still pretty cool
A shot of the pier. Look! A tsunami wave heading our way!
Everyone enjoying the beautiful weather.
Sometimes, you just gotta go solo.
Usually, it's much busier than this. Strange... but it does feel good to drive in clear traffic. At 3pm, it was time to head to the other side of S.F.
At stonestown... so much for clear blue sky. Let's get out of here before we become suicidal.
Back on 280 to 380 junction. S.F airport in front of us.
Whoa! Traffic... in this area? There must be an accident.
On 101 north, right after the airport.
Yep, it's an accident alright.
One of the cars
Finally reaching our friend's place in South S.F.
Our cop buddy cookin up some asian style chicken/duck noodle soup.
Away from police duties, he works on his bikes.
Off 101, whenever we see water and the stadium on our right, this means that we're 5 minutes from home.
Just another cool day in S.F.

Heatwave!
No not the band! It's hot as hell up here in S.F (87). Ok maybe we're exaggerating compare to the other cities in Norcal. San Jo and Sac are burning right now. Weather forecast says 95 in

Cheesy. :)

Ready for Production
Now that we're done with our development stage for Fall/Winter '08, we gonna focus on getting these samples ready for final production. Color corrections, measurements, prints, embroideries, labels and every other little detail we can think of.
It's all about this Fall/Winter '08 collection. We're double checking every sample pieces to make sure all the details and measurements are correct. Making all necessary changes, from neck labels to buttons, so we can sleep better. :)

We're also getting ready for the biggest campaign ever. Army Wear's Fall/Winter 2008 which also represents a new beginning for our company. :) We're completely excited! Did you know that we have a network of 75,000 contacts? Yea we sure do. However, since we've started in '06, we only used 10% of that. Now, we think it's the perfect time to use our secret weapon. Big thanks to all the promotion companies that are willing to give us support.

To help support our new season, we're also working on a fresh new website. Definitely expect a whole bunch of updates. We've also decided to put our online store back on. :) We're just moving out site to a different host. Here is one of the rough layouts but plenty of changes we need to do. Expect to be launched the end of June.
5. While working on Fall/Winter 2008, we just started brainstorming for Spring/Summer 2009. Yikes! It's a long way but that just how it goes. Hardest part is trying to figure out what the heck 2009 will look like for the market.

Must have for DJs
This watch came out a few months ago but it's definitely a cool item to have. A must have for serious DJs around the world. Not tacky at all... its perfect. Style designed by Flud Watches.

Only if we were the original designer of this piece, all of Army Wear's DJs would get one... Jtrix, Beatknoxx, Smilez, JE, Chris Para, Randy rockmatic and PTR. Maybe down the road somewhere we'll start on designing accessories.

Getting ready for summer
Everybody, hit the gym and get in shape! It's already hot in Sac-town and San Jo... San Francisco just takes a little bit longer but it's slowly warming up. Remember last month? People immediately rushed down to Ocean Beach the minute they heard about the heat. The beach was packed and all the parking lots were full. Can you believe that? We're talking about cold windy-ass Ocean Beach. :/
Here is an old school hit by Will Smith & Jazzy Jeff. Just to remind us the good times during summer. Great music, good barbecue and a whole bunch of friends. Where is Jazzy Jeff these days? Busy modeling for LRG. haha
Love the part when Will says "Of all that hardcore dance that has gotten to be* A little bit out of control its cool to dance* But what about the groove that soothes that moves romance". Seriously, the way things are right now, you can say that again. AND AGAIN.

Four stars * * * *
Spring is here! J/K Actually it started way back in March. If you haven't noticed, the weather here in San Francisco can jump from Summer to Winter within 24 hours so we can't really tell. It's weird out here. We'll be walking in the sun with shorts enjoying ourselves and then the following day, you'll catch us wearing 3 layers and getting blown away by the cold wind. So all 4 seasons is just the same to us. We just get more sunlight during summer.
Alright so who's been holding it down for Spring?
Five Four clothing with this "Summit" Jacket. The details are incredible. They also have these in white and black. Four stars * * * *

Hellz bellz with this lightweight nylon jacket... "vicious bellz". Really subtle with tonal blue and white. Four stars * * * *
10 Deep worked really hard developing this waterproof "Sub Rosa" nylon jacket. Bold move adding that checkerboard. Four stars * * * *

Harajuku Lovers with the "Badana cap" button shirt. A simple piece but well executed if you look at it close-up. Inspired by police uniform? Could have used a better color but still earns Four stars * * * *

Supreme Being with this pinstripe black hooded jamma. A hint of blue makes it really interesting. Four stars * * * *

Well that's all for today folks. The great thing about these pieces is that it's not so heavily promoted by the company name. We seriously hate that. Putting more focus on the detail and concept are always important. As for colors, Harajuku Lovers and 10 Deep uses plenty in their designs but managed to be very sensitive in their creative process. Keeping it interesting without being so loud.
AND...
An Arkansas woman is pregnant with her 18th child. WOW! Most women couldn't even imagine giving birth to more than 3 kids. Well congrats again & may the next one be as healthy.
