I want the ring back!!!

Matt Grant and Shayne Lamas... after ending their engagement, Matt asked for the ring back. Well, the 2.85 carat ring isn't going anywhere. That's roughly about $30,000? Shayne says, "I have it and I am going to keep it forever for the rest of my life ... It's safe and clean and in a glass box like a glass slipper." Haha!

Just plain wrong

World's ugliest dog competition, hosted by Animal Planet. Can't believe this competition actually exist. That's messed up... owner just seem so proud how ugly their dogs are. The commentator says, "wow that is one ugly puppy. She has a hump and I'm not sure what that thing hanging down is". Ha! Can you imagine if we had that for human beings? The world's ugliest person. Yea, it seems funny but wrong in so many ways.

What race?!? Ha!

Oh Mamma Mia!!! What happened?!? Last Thursday, we said it was gonna be an interesting race between The Dark Knight and Mamma Mia!, but there was no race after all. The Dark Knight crushed every other competition, setting the opening-weekend record with $158,411,483-beating Spiderman 3, while Mamma Mia! takes in $27,751,240. It would take Mamma Mia! about 6 weekends to catch up. Well, we all can agree on one thing... Heath Ledger was amazing!

SF Aids Walk 2008

Congrats to all the walkers! Big shoutouts to all the volunteers. Good turnout as always... Supporters from all over the Bay Area.

And so at 10am, the walk starts. Not sure why Mr. Showoff is running.
Around the exhausting 3-mile loop... 1.5 mile to go
USF band?
Hmmm Don't know what that is but it was cool to watch
Thousands of people back at the Meadow
Live music... the remaining crowd at 3:30pm
The Breakdown
Grabbing cones, folding chairs & picking up trash
Hey, where did everybody go?
The End

In theaters Friday!

While the boys wait anxiously for The Dark Knight, the girls wait patiently for Mamma Mia! to hit theaters this Friday. It's going to be an interesting race at the box office. Of course, moviegoers have high expectations for both so let see which will take the trophy for this summer's biggest hit. The Dark Knight , like Brandon Lee in The Crow, finished without it's main actor, Heath Ledger. Gotta see this!

Change for the better

Our site will be down for about 15 days because of the changes to our website. Like we said last month, we're building a new website, changing our host and bringing our online store back on. Anyways, we'll be making the transition within the next 48 hours so expect some delays when you visit the site. Blogs will probably stay on but the rest will be down for about 15 days.

Cleaning doodoo that the hippo left behind!

Dance moves

So you think you can dance? Next time you're at the club, have fun but make sure you know how to dance before you hit the floor. For some odd reason, after a few drinks, people feel as if they're the best dancers in the world. Sometimes funny to watch. If you don't know how, you gonna look like this... Turk & J.D at the club. Classic!

Fireworks

Sort of late but here's the clip of our 4th of July in Marin County.

Once again, we had our BBQ over at Crissy Field in San Francisco. We wanted to catch the fireworks at the pier but things didn't go as planned. Unlike last year, this year was cold, windy and foggy. The field was somewhat empty compare to jam-packed field in '07. Anyways, we went on with our BBQ as usual... a canopy, BBQ grill, drinks, music, etc. Eventually things got so bad that we couldn't even see the pier from Crissy Field. We still wanted to catch the firework so we decided to head over to Marin County. After finishing our food, we packed and made our way to Marin County fairground... in time for the fireworks.

First, the boom...

and then the bang!

Spinnin skyscraper?!?

Dubai just unveiled their design of an 80-story shape-shifting skyscraper. Each floor can rotate independently, allowing you to adjust to any shape you like. What?!? The price on these apartments range from $4 million to $40 million. Although developers from Canada, Europe and South Korea have expressed interest, some already expressed skepticism on the project. What do you think, mission impossible?
Let's not forget, Dubai will have the world's tallest building once The Burj Dubai is completed in 2009.

New cell phone law

Starting today, drivers in California will not be allowed to use cell phones on road unless with a hands-free device. No cell phone use at all for those under 18. yeahh this might suck but if you really think about it... it's not that bad considering the amount of accidents on road. Have you ever seen a driver trying to make a turn or change lane while using their cell phone? Ohh man.. They're completely zoned out and ignoring the fact that there's another vehicle in the way. Actually, we're all guilty of that. Ha!

Now what?!?
Start getting use to putting on this device everywhere you go

If you can't afford one, just do this!

Our prediction: The majority of you will ignore this new law as long as you can. Until you or someone you know gets a ticket, that's the only time that you'll consider getting a hands-free device.
