Vietnamese sandwich

Have you ever eaten a Vietnamese Sandwich? If you haven't, you're missing out. First of all, it's one of the cheapest sandwich you can find. Although cheap, it's a tasty sandwich. It looks like this... a baguette cut deep in the middle, filled with veggie and meat.
You can have all sorts of meat but the traditional meat is Vietnamese ham. Anyways, some say it's the pate, while other say it's the meat that makes the sandwich good. Well, it's the combination of everything... fresh bread, pickled veggies(daikon and carrots), slightly spicy pepper, mayonnaise, pate(spreadable paste) and meat (grill pork, chicken or ham).
Just remember one thing, a Vietnamese sandwich should start with fresh baguette. Thin crispy crust and soft on the inside.
When you order, all you have to do is pick your choice of meat. Although, the ingredients are usually the same all for sandwiches, what they put inside is different for each restaurant/cafe.
If you plan to find a location with the best Vietnamese sandwich, don't bother going to chain stores like Lee's Sandwich. That's like eating burritos at Taco Bell. It's just not the same.
There should be a few good spot in the Vietnamese community. Plenty in San Jose, CA and San Francisco, CA. :) Unless you're in Vietnam, the sandwich stands are always the best!

Hello, Denmark

Don't know why but there have been a lot of visitors from Denmark lately. Since our website went live again, we started getting more visitors from Europe. Places like the Netherlands, Switzerland, Finland, Greece, Germany and Romania. The strange thing is... most are from Denmark. Not sure why or how but it's great. Well, we have to give our shoutouts. Here is a little card we made. If that’s not a picture of Denmark... sorry.

Richard Friend

One of the hardest skills as an artist is to switch techniques, using various forms of medium for different projects. One artist that does this extremely well is Richard Friend, going from soft pencil drawing to dark contrast ink. Can you believe that these were created by the same artist?

All done by Richard Friend. Amazing!

Accessory Designs pt 1

Men dominate clothing selections while women rule the world in accessories. That's just how it goes. From colors to materials, there's no limitation in women's accessory designs. All the styles are extremely unique and can move in any direction. Unfortunately, you can't say that for men. Even with colors, the majority of men would reject anything feminine. Anyways, going through 5,000 watches, here are some of women's design that caught our attention.

Moschino
01TheOne
L.A.M.B
Juicy Couture
Gucci

Marc Jacobs
Lucky

Swatch
Skagen
Roberto Cavalli
Timex
TechnoMarine
Swatch
There you go. For watches... one point for women.

HDR is amazing!

If you’re just starting out with photography, you should start learning this great technique… HDR-High Dynamic Range imaging. Well, it’s a bit advance for beginners but a huge step in imaging if you’re able to master it. So far, only a few are able to do this technique correctly. The purpose of HDR is to “accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows”. Originally, HDR imaging was developed in the 1930s by Charles Wyckoff, to capture intense images like the nuclear explosion. Although it was recognized for decades, not until 1997, that the technique was presented to the public by a researcher name Paul Debevec. Recently, HDR have gained its popularity with the help of newer software and cheaper digital SLR cameras. Here are some of the best HDR examples we've collected.
