Within a 2-week period, gas prices has dropped 52 cents, and even lower than $2 in some parts of the country. Also, in comparison to October of last year, theaters have gained 42% increase in revenue. Considering the fact that movie tickets has been declining all summer, this is big for Hollywood. This also tells you that people are slightly more comfortable in spending.
